We had a dream about what a Woodland Wedding might look like, so after a cake fuelled tactical meeting, Jenny Fleur and I embarked on our first ‘Styled Photoshoot’.
We both love things bright, whimsical, woodland and floral, so our location was easy to choose. We headed off to Homme House and its blissful setting in the Herefordshire countryside.
We chose a day in May and gathered contributions from some of the best suppliers in the county. On arrival at Homme House, we set about choosing the locations for the shoot while the fabulous Rebecca Haines created a beautiful dewy and delicate look for our bride for the day, Molly.
It turns out that trying to build a Tipi from scratch with no previous experience isn’t as easy as it seems and there were many snorts of laughter. We then continued to style and tweak and laugh and eat many too many marshmallows until our vision had become a reality.
We are thrilled with the results and are very proud to have been published by Whimsical Wonderland Weddings – the icing on the cake for us!
