Your Wedding Day. It is the most important day of your life. The day when your family and friends gather together to share the promises that you will make to one another and to celebrate this incredibly special occasion.
So you want to make sure that this celebration and all of its’ detail is captured and presented as a beautiful portfolio of images, and that’s where my unique style of Wedding Photography comes into it. Whatever your style, I can take your ideas and incorporate them. Contemporary or traditional, alternative or vintage – I love them all.
I work really hard to ensure that every available moment is shoot time, so that all of the details are captured. I like to think that I am super organised and will work alongside your venue to ensure that the day runs smoothly. My commitment to you, means that you can relax and enjoy your day, safe in the knowledge that your day is being beautifully photographed. I ensure that I am always very well presented – no polo shirts and cargo pants for me. If you have a theme, I do my best to compliment it and blend in to the crowd.
I take time to listen and understand your requirements. I want you two to be recognisable as yourselves with your personalities shining through. I love to have fun and a bit of a laugh with your guests so that they relax into the photographs and there will definitely be a bit of hip-hip-horray if we do a large group shot.
It’s also important when looking for Wedding Ceremony and Reception venues in Warwickshire, Worcestershire, or around the beautiful Cotswolds, to really take the time to consider just how you feel about getting married there. I just love the fact that Weddings are getting more and more personal to the couple getting married. I see SO much effort taken to provide treats and personalise and decorate venues to make your guests feel really welcome.
A big fan of alternative and vintage styling, I love nothing more than an event that it is a little quirky or different. This season, I have photographed so many different Weddings in and around Worcestershire and Warwickshire, the Cotswolds and Gloucestershire. Oh – and a quick trip to photograph a very private and personal ceremony with just the Bride and Groom.
There are lots of expectations placed upon couples when they decide to get married, but don’t lose sight of your likes and loves. It doesn’t have to be a Hotel or designated Wedding venue. There are farms and barns and lots of open spaces that you can hire to create your perfect day. Marquees and Tipis are easily transported. Village Halls are also worth considering. So many of these are old buildings are absolutely fantastic and ripe to be decorated and personalised by you and your Wedding party
All of these details will ultimately add to the overall style and feel of your Wedding day and the photographs that it will create. The colours that you chose and accessories and setting are so important to ensure that your day becomes as individual as you are. Don’t forget to rope in enthusiastic mates and family to help! You’ll be amazed at the hidden creative talents that will suddenly be revealed.
I am renowned for seeking out those little unique and unusual features in and around your location. Corn fields, beautiful brickwork or weathered wood. A storage shed (true story), derelict buildings, and mural painted walls. There are endless possibilities with a bit of creativity, a pair of Converse and a cheeky smile!
I love to take part in the event and even dressed up as a 40’s Factory Girl recently, so if you are looking for a wedding photographer that will make every effort; with the imagination and buzz that you need to deliver a cracking portfolio, please do give me a shout!
